Message From Emanuel C. Perlman
Helping and guiding people has been my life's work and passion, and peace has been my sustained mission since I was very young. As a student, I was struck by the sentiments of my teacher who challenged us to imagine what it would mean for the world to be at peace for an entire day! Think about just a single 24 hours without fighting, anger, or fear. We are still dreaming of reaching that lofty goal. During Covid-19, we began with an hour, seen around the world. Our hope was that, if only for a moment, we would bring tranquility to your lives. Be inspired by our gifted speakers and uplifted by these talented performers. I am still humbled and grateful for your participation in this project together. We are releasing our new documentary and Destination Peace song in April 2025.
Alex Ogbodo
Alex Ogbodo is a trailblazing broadcast journalist dedicated to shedding light on vital topics, from education and empowerment to economics and governance. Focusing on Nigeria, particularly the South East region, he has generously volunteered his expertise to institutions that preserve cultural heritage and promote peace, such as the Center for Memories and the Prof. Gloria Njoku Annual Peace Conference. Notably, he has crafted a media message that effectively supported the Enugu state government in mitigating the impact of the Monday sit-at-home in Enugu State.
