"You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will live as one."
EMANUEL C. PERLMAN
In the 5th century before the Common Era, Greek historian Thucydides taught that fundamental human motivations – fear, honor, and interest – caused wars. Destination Peace tunes out fear and alarm through tranquility inherently discovered in music. It honors a group process through singing a global song, rather than through a separate national anthem.
We start a dialogue with a universal language that unites and creates a mutual foundation.
Our founder, Emanuel Perlman, created an eight syllable phrase Sasha Eha Toze Hawooh that replicates a “sound” coming from 124 global languages and put it to music. When individuals and international communities from diverse backgrounds sing together it allows a unique shared harmonious relationship even amongst long standing enemies!
Together, we keep a prolific songwriters’ dream of peace alive!
